Beginning of the End

There comes a time when everything changes.
First, I was The Ace of Hearts, then I was Ainfinitaire. Now, it's time to move on to something else.
This journey ends here. This isn't the end, but rather a new beginning.
My next journey, as the SEAREX, is just about to start.
Why don't you join me?

Laced Up

Lace crop tops and maxi skirts feel so very summery and "on-trend" to me. While I'm hardly one to go for super feminine silhouettes or fabrics, there's something that is so enjoyable about this relaxed yet put-together outfit. Better yet, a quick ponytail makes things perfectly casual and just right for the sweltering summer heat. Sweltering being the operative word here.

To summer days and endless oceans of ice cream!

Rip van Winkle

Lately, this blog before your eyes has been on the back burner. Today, this final day of June, I finally woke up (both figuratively and literally from a nice siesta that wasn't quite 20 years long).

Turns out, Google Reader is shutting down tomorrow. Cue the tears.
Fret not, my darlings! Bloglovin' has arrived to save the day. If you enjoy my ramblings and general crazy hair flipping-twirling antics, please feel free to follow me here. In fact, while you're at it, why not just follow these easy instructions here to import your Google Reader feed over to Bloglovin'. Yes, yes, come join me on the dark side...

It's okay, just thank me later. (Cough please note that I do enjoy chocolates and excessively whimsical things and all sorts of other nonsense cough)

Spotted Hiding

As much as I would love to be a ballerina (the tutu and the gracefulness!), I have realistically come to terms with the fact that I never will be. Wearing my attempt at an elegant ballerina bun (A for effort) is the closest I'll ever be to leaping gracefully through the air.

I've heard that Russian ballerinas are banned from even tasting ice cream until the days they quit dancing. If not possessing an ounce of grace means being allowed to eat ice cream, it seems like I got the better end of the deal.

Summer is so close I'm starting to taste it, or perhaps more accurately, the ice cream I've been indulging in endlessly.
Happy Monday everyone!

Call me just another clothes hoarder. Despite having been so very enamored with this vest at the time of its purchase, I've come to realize that I own way too much clothing for a single person. What's new?

This vest has been sitting in my closet for the last four years. During that time, I've worn it maybe twice (and that's rounding up). Needless to say, I need to find a few ways to wear this vest. In the coming weeks and the summer in general, keep your eyes peeled for the ten thousand and one ways I wear this vest.
Let's call this the summer of the vest.
